Apply Now: Africa Scholarship Program for Sustainable Development

As the third step in the 2030 Agenda journey, now is an opportune time to review Africa's current progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and assess what adjustments the strategy needs to make to overcome remaining obstacles to success. The SDGs provide time-bound targets in key sectors including health, education, employment, energy, infrastructure and the environment that all countries can achieve. The need to achieve these goals is greater than in Africa. While progress in some sectors and countries is encouraging, the region as a whole needs to redouble its efforts to achieve CIS by 2030. Success requires effective and coordinated partnerships to achieve CSI.
Africa Scholarship Program for Sustainable Development

To this end, the Fellowship provides a learning platform to track and assess achievements and challenges in implementation both agendas, while improving learning and supporting effective policy and action. The fellowship will make an important contribution to improving multi-stakeholder interaction and synergies and facilitating coordinated efforts to implement and achieve the development goals of both agendas.
